History

Our grassroots trace back to 2014 when our current Director Chris, voiced dissatisfaction with commonplace air fresheners that failed to endure. Frusted by various attempts with liquid sprays, aerosols, hanging felts (trees), canister felts, beads under the seats, oil based clip vent clip in’s & the dreaded ‘goo’ (gel) canister air fresheners – which often caused more problems than they solved – Chris' equally passionate friend proposed a solution: "Why not create your own?"

Fast forward through extensive research and development, three years of dedicated effort, and countless hours – Platinum Potions emerged in 2017. Originating in a modest workshop in Sydney's CBD, initially focusing on crafting premium deodorising air fresheners, we swiftly outgrew the space. Within two years, we expanded to a large-scale manufacturing facility in South West Sydney, extending our reach into the motorsports, aviation, maritime, and commercial cleaning sectors.

From a modest start of 5 fragrances in 2017, we now boast an impressive selection of 34 fragrances. Beyond our olfactory offerings, we've successfully developed a range of highly specialised and refined interior and exterior detailing chemicals, maintaining the precision and quality synonymous with our premium deodorising air fresheners.

As we marked our fifth year in business in 2022, we proudly placed our Australian-made car care products on the global map. The inception of Platinum Potions America, facilitated by our American distributor, Parks Car Care, has garnered a swift and expansive global following. This resonance has only deepened our commitment to delivering unparalleled quality and fostering continuous innovation.
